Built from the ground up, an AI-powered B2B sales platform that enables businesses to send personalized outbound emails and LinkedIn DMs at scale. Led the technical vision and development, integrating Gmail, Microsoft, and LinkedIn automation. Built with Elixir, Phoenix LiveView, Python, and React.

Worked with an AI scribe company based in San Francisco, building Discord support systems that process videos as knowledge bases for AI bots. Contributed to the backend infrastructure and built Chrome extension integrations. Also developed a referral system to drive user growth.

The Open Institute, Software Developer
Research project funded by the University of Warwick and Welcome Trust. Built a WhatsApp chatbot for community health workers in Kenya, piloted in Busia, to help serve patients with sickle cell anemia. Explored different AI models including Mistral, Llama 7B, and OpenAI to optimize healthcare delivery in underserved communities.

Since I was young, my dream has always been to use software to make the world a better place. That dream led me to my first opportunity—building a WhatsApp chatbot for community health workers in Kenya, piloted in Busia, to help serve patients with sickle cell anemia. Funded by the University of Warwick and Welcome Trust, that project wasn't just code; it was my chance to see technology directly impact lives in underserved communities.
That experience shaped everything that followed. Over 5+ years, I've built AI platforms that scale, fintech solutions spanning multiple countries, and tools that protect brands and connect people. Fiti.info - Brand Protection & Logistics
A brand protection and logistics service trusted by Oxford University Press. Generates unique pins placed at the back of books which users can scratch and send to the WhatsApp bot or SMS to validate authenticity of books.
Ticketing systems
Built multiple ticketing systems that have transacted over $1,000,000 in ticket sales. These platforms simplify the process of booking and obtaining tickets for events, supporting both card and M-Pesa payments. The systems ensure seamless and secure transactions from selection to delivery, enhancing the overall experience for event-goers.
CallWisely
An AI call center agent with embeddable chatbot. Takes knowledge base from website, documents, or text and uses it to personalize the AI voice agent. The voice can be changed depending on the persona, making it dynamic and adaptable for different use cases.
Nexuscale.ai
An AI-powered B2B sales software used to send automated outbound emails and follow-ups. Features a database of over 200M leads with LinkedIn personalization, Google News integration, and website personalization.
TOMOLLO Fashions
An ecommerce platform for African and Irish fashion, celebrating vibrant designs with modern, handcrafted pieces. Features include product catalog, shopping cart, and customer reviews. Built with Elixir, Phoenix, and Tailwind CSS.
Sema
A mental health and wellness platform that connects users with accredited therapists for online therapy sessions. Features include therapist selection, appointment booking, video conferencing, and support for individual and couples counseling. Has facilitated over 5,000 therapy sessions.
Achievements
These are some of the things I have achieved in my career as a software developer.
1. Built nexuscale.ai from the ground up and successfully launched on AppSumo, gaining over 1,400 customers and transforming how sales teams approach outbound campaigns.
2. Built multiple ticketing systems that have transacted over $1,000,000 in ticket sales, successfully handling 2,000+ ticket sales in 30 minutes during flash sales.
3. Built Sema, a mental health platform that has facilitated over 5,000 therapy sessions, transforming lives and making mental health support accessible.
4. Built Fiti.info, a brand protection platform trusted by Oxford University Press to combat counterfeit goods.
5. Led a team of 2 developers as CTO at nexuscale.ai, guiding technical decisions, architecture, and implementation.
6. Winner of the innovate hackathon 2022 organized by value chain factory. We built a web app that enables one's medical details and bio data to be retrieved quickly using a qr code or nfc tag.
7. Winner of the No app for this hackathon 2022 organized by Open institute.
8. Winner of the USIU-A hackathon 2023 organized by USIU-Africa and blipearth.
9. Winner of the 2023 Kenya National Bureau of Statistics hackathon in partnership with the British High Commission and Wowzi. We developed a web application that provides farmers with advisory from planting to harvesting with Michael Munavu.
10. Winner of the 2023 Uasin Gishu County hackathon in partnership with Mozilla Africa and the Gladys Boss Shollei Foundation.
11. Emerged 2nd in the fintech hackathon organized by budpay.
